Carla Monroy is a Latina writer and storyteller born in Los Angeles and a proud graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied English Literature. Her work is rooted in culture, identity, and the belief that understanding our formative years can help break generational cycles.

Through poetry and narrative, Carla explores themes of belonging, resilience, and the personal histories that shape who we become. Her voice is bold, reflective, and connected to her heritage

She is currently working on her debut poetry collection, set to be self-published this Fall 2025.
